Adelaide and the Shooting Star

Today's Transcript

A memory appears; a young girl with dark brown hair, tied up with a white ribbon, happily accepts a present. LUCY: I'd say this radio was loved very dearly. The girl admires her radio, now set atop a table. LUCY: Cared for, looked after. The girl again, her hair down, expression bitter. LUCY: But... The girl argues with the person who gave her the present. Furious, she smashes the radio against the ground, and it breaks. LUCY: It was...abandoned. The radio morphs, shifting into the serpent/lizard form. LUCY: And then it woke up. All that love twisting it into something else. A close up of the radio; 'from L + A' is scribbled on it.
